Exhibition Armando: a collection

Exhibition Armando: a collection

Work by the painter, sculptor, draughtsman, writer and poet Armando, from the T-collection of Tony de Meijere, is on display from today, 15 November.

Armando (1929) is one of the Netherlands’ most versatile post-war artists. His substantial and compelling oeuvre is characterized by melancholy, guilt and memory. In this exhibition we show a selection from the unique collection assembled by Armando’s ex-wife Tony de Meijere throughout their lengthy marriage and which she has now donated to the Kröller-Müller Museum on permanent loan.

The exhibition will be on view until 22 Mach, 2015.
