Through SBMK the Kröller-Müller Museum is participating in the two-year European project PRACTICs: Practices, Research, Access, Collaboration, Teaching In Conservation of Contemporary Art.
The project is being led by INCCA (the International Network for the Conservation of Contemporary Art) and aims to share international expertise on modern art. Co-organisers are Tate, Restaurierungszentrum Dusseldorf, Museo Nacional Centro Arte Reina Sofia, Stedelijk Museum voor Aktuele Kunst (SMAK) and the Foundation for the Conservation of Contemporary Art (SBMK).

As part of the project, a seminar entitled “Access2CA: Access to Contemporary Art Conservation” is to take place in Ljubljana on 10 December 2009. The seminar is being organized by ICN in collaboration with Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (MNCARS).
