The paintings of Vincent van Gogh in the collection of the Kröller-Müller Museum

Kröller-Müller Museum, Otterlo, 2003

Van Gogh's paintings have been catalogued in greater or lesser detail on a regular basis since 1917, first by Mr and Mrs Kröller-Müller and later by the museum, but always in combination with the drawings, and then often as part of a comprehensive museum catalogue. This is the first study devoted to the paintings alone. The information gathered provides an overview of what is currently known about these paintings, including the results of recent art historical research on the authenticity of the works, their dating, their provenance and the exhibitions in which they were shown.
