The audio tour provides background information on approximately 30 masterworks of the vast collection and is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Chinese. 

The audio tour costs €2.50 and is available from the reception desk in the museum.

Guided tours

The museum’s tour guides provide guided tours on request. They take you on a journey of discovery through the museum or sculpture garden and provide you interesting background information about the masterpieces and their creators. There are two tours to choose from.

Museum tour

Discover the permanent collection of the Kröller-Müller Museum together with your tour guide. The tour includes the life-sized portrait of Mata Hari, the festive Le Chahut by Georges Seurat and the abstract works of Bart van der Leck and Piet Mondriaan. The central focus of the tour are the works by Vincent van Gogh, both his early Dutch works and the colourful works that he created in France. You also learn more about the museum’s founder: Helene Kröller-Müller. Which were her personal favourites? How did the works end up in her collection?

Sculpture garden tour

Awaken your senses on a walk through one of the largest sculpture gardens in Europe. The tour guide shows you sculptures by Auguste Rodin, Barbara Hepworth and Jean Dubuffet, informs you about the history of the sculpture garden and invites you to view the works of art close up.

Give your own guided tour

You can also give a guided tour yourself, for a maximum of 15 people. This ensures that the spaces remain accessible for other visitors. The use of a headset is required in the period from 1 March to 31 October. You must bring the headsets with you. A headset is not required in the sculpture garden.
