The Kröller-Müller is the coproducer of Menschen-Worte, an intimate, light-hearted musical performance based on the poetry of Jean Arp. In a collaboration with the composer Astrid Kruisselbrink and the director Marc Pantus, four musicians bring Jean Arp’s humorous and philosophical poems to life and invite the public to join them in a celebration of the absurdity of human existence.
The performers are the mezzo-soprano Antje Lohse, the flautist Marieke Franssen, the double bass player Jelte van Andel and the harpist Miriam Overlach.
To accompany this production, Uitgeverij Vleugels has published a collection of Jean Arp’s poetry translated into Dutch by Ria van Hengel. The book is available in the museum shop.
The perfomance is free of charge for anyone with a valid ticket for the park and museum. Do please sign up through firstname.lastname@example.org, citing 'Menschen-Worte' and date.
