Violinist and illustrator Kaja Majoor and cellist Diederik Smulders have developed a musical performance especially for the NJO Summer Festival. They draw inspiration from the phenomenon of synaesthesia (whereby people, for example, see colours when listening to music). During the performances, you will hear how colours, shapes and movements are transformed into harmonious melodies and amazing sounds. In this way, the musicians explore the interfaces between music and art and push the boundaries of the imagination.
