Georges Seurat greatly influenced a whole generation of artists. Through his colleague and friend Paul Signac, Neo-impressionism spread through France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, to artists including Maximilien Luce, Henry van de Velde, Théo van Rysselberghe, and Jan Toorop. With around 60 works by these and other artists, the Kröller-Müller Museum is also showing the dissemination of Seurat’s new style of painting.
