Concert ‘Birdsong’
Especially for Muziekzomer Gelderland, the Damsco Quartet performs a programme inspired by the Auguries, works of art by Andy Holden in the museum's sculpture garden. The three Auguries visualize what you might hear in the sculpture garden: birdsong. They are sound waves, which are normally read horizontally, but the sculptures are vertical and point upwards to the sky. You can see the song of the swift, yellowhammer and mistle thrush. These are bird species whose populations are rapidly declining.
The Damsco Quartet will give short performances near the Auguries. They will play existing pieces of music and improvise interactively with the audience.

The concert is free for anyone with a valid ticket for the park and museum.
