The futurists regarded clothing as a way to quickly adapt to circumstances and different moods. They did this with modificanti, fabric accessories in bright colours and geometric shapes that could be attached anywhere on a garment with buttons.
During the exhibition Futurism & Europe, Tinka of Steekje Los makes a contemporary interpretation of these modificanti. Her futurist-inspired and sustainable modificanti are made with leftovers from the fashion industry. So now you can also express your mood in colour and form with your own futurist modificanti.
Practical information
On 12 July, 19 July, 26 July, 2 August, 4 August, 9 August and 16 August, you can have your own modificanti made between 11.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs. The activity is free of charge for anyone with a valid ticket for the museum and park. No reservation is required.
