Visitors on Van Goghs terraceStep into the painting
For the first time in 20 years, Terrace of a Café at Night is on tour; it is in Japan, where it will be exhibited in Kobe, Fukushima and Tokyo until September 2026. Although it won't be on display at the Kröller-Müller Museum, you can experience the painting in a completely different way here. In a space specially designed for Terrace of a Café at Night, you can take a seat on the Place du Forum and photograph yourself in Van Gogh's painting.
