Portret van kunstenaar Susan Philipsz

Susan Philipsz's lecture will be followed by a conversation with Lisa Le Feuvre, executive director of the Holt/Smithson Foundation. Together, they will talk about landscape art: how do we view it today, what is the history of certain locations, and how does a work of art engage in dialogue with the landscape in which it is situated?

The lecture is organised by the Holt/Smithson Foundation in collaboration with Land Art Lives.

Curious about the work of Susan Philipsz? You can experience her sound installation The Wind Rose (2019) in the museum's sculpture garden.
