75th anniversary
The Kröller-Müller Museum celebrates its seventy-fifth anniversary on 13 July 2013. On this date the jubilee year commences with the exhibition Top 75, for which the museum will select seventy-five masterpieces from the collection: works by Carl Andre, Constantin Brancusi, Paul Cézanne, Gilbert & George, Vincent van Gogh, Donald Judd, Piet Mondriaan, Bruce Nauman, Pablo Picasso and many others.
A personal selection of masterpieces
With Top 75 the museum wants not only to exhibit and justify its own selection, but also to show the public that art can be viewed in different ways and that everyone has their own masterpieces. Therefore, guests – artists, politicians, actors, writers and scholars – are invited to make their own selection from the Kröller-Müller Museum’s collection. This will result in twenty-four personal audiotours for the public.
