The Kröller-Müller Museum on the partnership
With Mastercard as a partner, the Kröller-Müller Museum has teamed up with a global player. Together we work on the museum’s mission: to bring as many people as possible, inside and outside the museum, into contact with the rich collection and the stories about the museum and its collection. The museum looks forward to collaborating with Mastercard and the three other museums on creating beautiful, unforgettable experiences for a wide audience over the next three years. ‘We complement each other in the shared mission to promote national involvement and inspire people worldwide through the enjoyment of art and culture.’
Priceless Experiences
Mastercard aims to connect people with art in a unique way and support the four museums in creating ‘priceless’ experiences. Such as an exclusive, one-off breakfast in Rembrandt’s kitchen in the Rembrandt House Museum, a series of Meet the Masters as part of the Friday evening programming at the Stedelijk Museum, or access to the conservation studio at the Kröller-Müller Museum, for example during the conservation of Vincent van Gogh’s Self-portrait.
In addition to organizing local activities, Mastercard encourages the arts and culture sector to develop more digital products through these collaborations. One of the first projects will be the production ‘Art Masters’, a series of video reports in which museum experts talk about masterpieces.
Digital content
The Kröller-Müller Museum will use the sponsorship contribution to develop, among other things, digital content so that people in the Netherlands and abroad can also enjoy the rich collection from home.
